From the 23rd to the 27th of November, Frédéric Bonin, the Head of Studies of China Campus, lead a design workshop at EM Lyon Shanghai, a top-tier French “Grande Ecole” teaching Management at a Master’s degree level. In the middle of November, Nicolas Hubert, a 5th year student at the Chinese campus of L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique has organised a workshop with 8 design students from Qingdao University.

From the 19th to the 23rd of October 2009, L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique’s 5th year students will work with Shandong University of Art and Design 山东工艺美术学院 students on a project lead by the R&D Center of Seb-Supor.
Seb-Supor 苏泊尔 is a joint venture that was created in 2006. Founded in 1994, Supor is the leader of the cookware market in China and the third largest cookware company in the world. Its headquarters are in Hangzhou 杭州, in Zhejiang province 浙江省 near Shanghai. It owns six production sites and more than 7,000 employees worldwide.

Antoine Persyn, a 4th year student in the China based Master degree programme of L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique, created this beautiful « Iboga » lamp for the Shanghai Ecodesign Fair in April 2009. Made out of bamboo wood, this lamp is meant to help people feel better at home like a medication. [Read more →]

Between the 17th and 18th of April, the students will participate in the Eco Design Fair 2009 in Shanghai. They will present there their works on bamboo stems.
Eco Design Fair : Event meant to propose sustainalble products to Shanghai citizens, it gathers products from over 30 eco-conscious businesses and groups include organic clothing, home accessories, furniture, natural beauty products, stationary, toys, building materials, organic food products plus more information on developing a more sustainable lifestyle.
